Monkey Bread

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350​​o F.
Grease large bundt pan with butter

DOUGH:

Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Cut each biscuit into 8 pieces.
Toss biscuit pieces in sugar/cinnamon mixture a few at a time.
Arrange biscuit pieces in prepared bundt pan. (Do not fill more than 2/3 full, as it will raise.)
 
​​Pour topping below over biscuit pieces in bundt pan.

Bake at 350o F for 35 - 50 minutes, until top is dark and bubbly (do not overcook.)

Immediately turn bundt pan over on to serving dish.

Serves 20 - 25.

TOPPING:

Mix sugar, cinnamon, butter and vanilla extract in saucepan and bring to boil.​

  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbs. cinnamon
  • 2 cans buttermilk grands biscuits (8 biscuits each)

TOPPING:

  • 1 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbs. cinnamon
  • ​1 cup butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
